Orora – Skywalker Structural Steelwork

Orora is one of Australia’s leading packaging manufacturers and distributors. Specialising in several types of packaging, Orora are industry leaders in the packaging landscape. As more Australian’s consume packaged goods, the client must keep up with the increase in demand.

Brunton supported Orora with the supply and installation of over 200 tonnes of structural steelwork. This will enable the client to efficiently carry out their work to meet the needs of Australian customers.

Our Solution

• Brunton conducted a thorough site survey to gain a proper understanding of the existing vertical levels. The team used this information to inform the in-house fabrication design for over 10,000 components that will support future production process.
• The team installed the steelwork alongside installation and mechanical subcontractors.
• An appointed engineer was the project manager, who oversaw the entire process to ensure the work was on track to completion.
• When the project is completed, the final 160 tonnes of steelwork will be painted in a unique colour scheme of blue, yellow and white.
